A quick note to those trying to get XSL transformations to work on Unix-like systems.

You need to ensure you explicitly compile PHP with XSL support by pointing PHP's configure script at the directory where libxml2 and libxslt are found. So on my 64bit CentOS distro, the compile flag was:
